I'm kind of surprised that I didn't post about this book before. It really amazed me - held me spellbound right until the last page - kept me riveted similarly to my love for 'The Weight of Water.' I enjoy Chevalier's work. I've read 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' and I can't remember the name of it, but it was about the Unicorn Tapestry. I'm in the middle of 'Fallen Angels' (although I will admit so far it has been disappointing compared to 'Virgin').
I love the mix of modern and medieval. I love believing that we have such a strong connection to our past that it can withstand centuries. I love the stories of Old France. There wasn't anything that I didn't like about this book, and usually I can find one or two things. So I heartily recommend it!
