One of the many things I collect is tin boxes. So when we were driving to Renfrew, and I saw that the flea market where I purchased about six decorative tin boxes was still open and thriving, well, I had to insist we stop. I found some real pretties. And this beautiful tin bread box that the vendor figures is from the '40s. The flower on the bread box is a dahlia, and not a poinsettia as I first thought. Can't wait to put it in the kitchen.
