Seconds before I go to pack up my car to head back to the city, I hear my step-father clamouring up the stairs from the basement, his pager blaring about a chip stand ablaze.
It wasn't much of a blaze. But since the Fireman's Challenge, my mother has decided that I need to get more pictures of everyone in their fire gear to make a calendar for Christmas. I grabbed the first coat I saw - my step-dad's fire department jacket - and walked down the street with camera in hand. There really wasn't much to be seen, but I got an alright picture of the boys' toys.
