A couple weekends ago, I took my brother on a wild goose chase to find this cemetery where some of our ancestors are buried. I finally found the cemetery, and we unearthed a corner marker for the Brown family to which we belong. There were several stones belonging to relations but not the one we were looking for: Alexander Brown, who came to the area from Ireland in the mid 1800s. We did, however, find his second wife's stone, erected in 1908. I shared some of the pictures with my grandmother today who was very pleased to see them, and try to figure out how everyone fits into our ever growing family tree.
