The Sad Truth About Happiness by Anne Giardini

Giardini is the daughter of author Carol Shields, and there are some similarities in writing styles.  This book was good - very unexpected by the end - but still an okay read.  This is the ninth novel of Canadian fiction I've read this year, and I've got one more on the go.  Only reading ten Canadian books in a year isn't a great statistic.  That's only 10% of my entire reading list!  I plan on remedying that problem in 2011.
