I guess I'm just getting past the Jennifer Weiner stage of my life, because this book just wasn't as good as the other ones I've read. I wasn't such a big fan of 'Certain Girls' either. I think what frustrated me about this story was one of the characters. She reminded me of this girl from college who had a really rough upbringing, but always seemed to make the worst choices and float through life because there would always be someone to take care of her. Someone you would otherwise feel sorry for, but just can't because her moral compass is in a state of disequilibrium.
