Blackfly Season by Giles Blunt

This is the second Giles Blunt novel I've read, and it comes from a series featuring Detective John Cardinal.  The novels are mystery/crime and are situated in a fictionalization of North Bay, Ontario.  I have to say, I love these books.  They're so Canadian and yet something that anyone, anywhere can pick up and read.  And Blunt is receiving a lot of accolades for his work - rightly so.

With this novel, my tally for the year so far is at 30 books.  I don't review all the books here - only the novels - cause some of my work-related reading is rather dry.  And this also is the 6th book of Can Lit I've read so far.  I've set a goal to read 20 Can Lit books this year, so I think I'm off to a great start.
