The Common Reader by Virginia Woolfe

I read the last bits of this collection of literary essays last night.  It was such an experience to read her words - her true words -  not some story that she has written, but her real thoughts on particular subjects.  I also found, on the Open Culture website that I blogged about yesterday, the only recording of Virginia Woolfe's voice.  Wow.  She was reading for a BBC program - I can't remember the year - but wow.
