The Other Side of the Bridge by Mary Lawson

I read Crow Lake maybe two years ago, and when I saw this book at a thrift shop, I immediately snapped it up.  This one is so much better.  It still features a small, Northern Ontario town, rural family, multiple perspectives, and past and present narration.  I really enjoy Lawson's writing, and can relate to the rural setting.  This is also another work of Can Lit, so I'm almost at my goal!  I recommend this book for anyone and everyone!  Such a great story and there were many twists and turns to keep it interesting.

I still haven't read this one despite the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed "Crow Lake" several years ago. My daughter even owns a copy of TOSoTB — I really need to get to it, thanks for the reminder.
