A short, but tremendously fun read! It's laid out very differently than I expected. There are eight main characters who gather one Monday a month to take part in a cooking class at 'Lillian's' restaurant. Each character has a section of the book which deals with their perspective, and it is so positive and interesting. It's a light read, but not trivial. If anything, it makes me want to cook, which is something I haven't had much compunction to do since moving to my apartment with its closet-sized kitchen. There were some great ideas for Thanksgiving fare, which I shared with Mom, so hopefully I'll be able to mix things up a little bit this year!
