Artful Wednesday: Kelsey Garrity-Riley

European-born, Kelsey Gerrity-Riley, is an illustrator of the utmost quality!  Currently residing in Savannah, GA, her original paintings have that lazy, southern summer quality.  I love the gentle watercolours that she uses.  And her rosy-cheeked characters are divinely sweet.

Her work consists of poster lettering, illustration, and recently, her little girls have become dolls!  The print she designed of Mary from "Downton Abbey" has become a beautiful silk scarf marketed by a company called "Fancy French Cologne."

Kelsey has a great blog, an etsy shop, and a personal website where you can see a catalogue of her work.  I personally suggest you check out her blog and explore her thoughts on her work and life.
